"MENGGOLEK” (To lay logs) is truly not an easy task. The term Riau “forestry” is used to refer to the activity of moving nearly half a ton of logs, one by one. Logs the size of two grown men’s embrace are lifted on rails—also from wood—stretching 500 meters. This sight can easily be found in the Duri jungle of Riau province.
