Emergency Regulations

Several “emergency” regulations have been issued by the government and Bank Indonesia in order to protect the national economy against the effects of the global financial crisis. These included Government Regulation Replacing State Decree 25/2004 on Savings and Loans institutions. Through this, the guarantee on banking customers’ funds is increased from Rp100 million up to Rp2 billion.
