Tempo's meeting with Machmudi Haryono on Friday last week was held in Sidoarjo, East Javaand not in Semarang, where he resides. He had stopped by the home of his older brother in Sidoarjo after taking a family to visit a convicted terrorist at the Nusakambangan Prison in Central Java. Visiting terrorist inmates has been a main feature in the life of this 41-year-old man since leaving prison in 2009.
