ON Wednesday, December 30, 2020, several hours after the government banned the Islam Defenders Front (FPI), the organization’s leaders held a meeting at its headquarters in Jalan Petamburan III, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, to discuss the next steps after the ban of its activities. “We decided to create a new vessel,” said FPI Central Board legal aid secretary, Aziz Yanuar, on Tuesday, January 5.
