COVID-19 vaccine recipients who experienced possible adverse event following immunization (AEFI) feel that the government has been slow in responding to their cases. Health Ministry Vaccination spokesperson, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, denied this accusation. In a written response sent to Tempo on Saturday, September 25, she said the government has been making serious efforts to manage and to create a protocol for handling AEFI cases.
