AS it so happened, 16 years ago, a victim of sexual violence met with Hanifah Muyasarah, leader and caretaker of the Al-Ihya Ulumaddin Islamic Boarding School for Girls in Cilacap Regency, Central Java. Having experienced severe trauma, this junior high school graduate teen hoped to continue her education. Muyasarah asked her to study at her pesantren or Islamic boarding school.
