No Budget Cuts for Security and Defense Affairs

DISCUSSIONS on the modernization of the National Police (Polri) surfaced during a meeting between the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) and a delegation led by the National Police’s Logistics Assistant, Insp. Gen. Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, in mid-January 2025. During the meeting, Argo outlined Polri’s equipment procurement plans. There were no indications that the police force needed to tighten its budget due to any cuts.
