Abolishing Discount Flights
THIS months increase in the price of Avtur aviation fuel has given many airline companies a real headache. As from May, the price has risen to Rp5,000 per liter. This followed the previous months 21.2 percent increase in the price of Avtur to Rp4,565 from Rp3,765 per liter. As a result, several airlines have begun to abolish discount flights or get rid of routes that no longer showed real potential.
