Debt Moratorium

THE United States was the first of the 19 member nations of the Paris Club to realize a moratorium deferring payment of US$212 million in Indonesian debt. The agreement to that effect was signed on Tuesday last week by Ambassador Lynn Pascoe and Director-General of State Treasury at the Finance Department, Mulia Nasution.
