BI says that some 40 banks have a chance to become anchor banks.

Wedding bells will soon chime for banks. Bank Indonesia (BI) announced the criteria for an anchor bank last Thursday. Obviously, such a financial institution must attain Good Performance Bank (BKB) status first before it can acquire other banks.
