OUT of the hundreds of people thronging the BMI building on Thursday last week, one middle-aged woman cried out hysterically, Weve been cheated! She was accusing BNI Securities of being unprofessional. The money amounting to Rp2 billion, which she had invested in mutual funds belonging to this securities house, had gone down in value because the price of bonds had dropped (see Read the Fine Print Before Buying).
