THE crisis has long since passed from the Jakarta Stock Exchange. Since the falls resulting from the subprime shocks in the US last August, the JSE’s Composite Share Price Index has continued to set new records. At the close of trading on Friday last week, the CSPI closed at a strengthening level of 2,707.667. One week earlier, the Index closed at 2,710.617, the highest level it had ever recorded in its history.
