Vale Indonesia is fast tracking the construction of three smelters in a bid to boost refined nickel production. It pursues gas supplies to reduce nickel smelter carbon emissions.

CHALLENGES stand in the way between Vale Indonesia’s ambition to push nickel smelter projects in three provinces. The company is still looking for gas supply to fuel up the smelters’ power generator.
