Vale Indonesia will surrender 11 percent of its shares through a follow-up divestment ahead of the company’s concession contract extension. Mind Id is preparing to purchase those shares. Many businesses set their eyes on nickel mine sites that are not yet in operation.

VALE Indonesia’s Contract of Work (CoW) still has three years and six months to go. By December 28, 2025, the nickel giant’s mining concession will expire. Far ahead of that date, the House of Representatives (DPR) has given strong reminders to the government not to extend Vale’s mining concession without a catch.
