THE security crisis in Mozambique in the past two years has indirectly saved Pertamina. The war in the country in the southeastern part of the African Continent gave Pertamina a chance to not continue the contract to purchase liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Mozambique LNG1 Company Pte Ltd.
