Minister Amran Sulaiman recommends changes to regulations on food sector institutions, citing self-sufficiency as the primary reason.

THE meeting involving 11 ministries and state institutions, along with five state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in the food sector, ran for over two hours but was still incomplete. Out of six agenda items, only two reached a conclusion. “The rest will be discussed next week.
