Pertamina has lost another tender and with this loss goes any chance of managing the reserves involvedthe equivalent of 440 million barrels of oil.

ONCE again Pertamina has had to bow its head in defeat to an oil company from China. In January this year, Pertamina's bid for the Repsol YPF (oil and gas company from Spain) oil and gas blocks in several operating areas in Indonesia, was beaten by the offer from the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC).
