State Firms to Boost Bond Market
The race is on among state-owned companies in Indonesia to raise much-needed cash through bond issues. On April 22, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) will announce its plan to issue Rp1 trillions worth of bonds. Several other firms having the same scheme include Perum Pegadaian, a major pawnbroker, with Rp300 billion in bonds, fertilizer group Pupuk Kaltim with Rp600 billions worth, and toll road builder
