Rhino Sightings Reported in Leuser National Park

The Leuser International Foundation last week reported spotting seven Sumatran rhinoceroses in Aceh's Mount Leuser National Park. Images of the rhinos, the first sightings in 26 years, were captured by hidden cameras over a 10-month period.

Conservationists estimate there are only up to 25 rhinos left in Leuser out of some 200 Sumatran rhinos believed to be living in the forests of Indonesia and Malaysia.
