GOING over schedule by two days, the United Nations COP27 Climate Conference in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, only concluded on Sunday morning, November 20. Even though it has become a tradition for the climate conference to perpetually end later than scheduled, the COP27 is recorded as the longest lasting meeting since the very first Conference of Parties in 1992, namely the Earth Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
