This is a story of one turtle's religious journey, an experience no different to the final respects paid to a human when meeting with the Creator. This story began when a jumbo turtle measuring 2.24 meters in length and 80 centimeters in width, weighing in at 400 kilograms, was found beached on Klotok beach in the Klungkung regency of Bali. No sooner than it was discovered by fishermen, the reptile was immediately slaughtered.
