PNM Wins an Award for Fostering the MSMEs

PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) received an award in the “Subsidiary BUMN” category from Tras n Co on Thursday, September 15, 2022 in Jakarta. The award was based on empowerment and assistance to the fostered MSMEs (ULaMM and Mekaar Customers) through the Business Capacity Development (PKU) program.
“Big thanks and appreciation to the judges of the TOP Digital Corporate Brand Award 2022 award. It becomes the pride for all PNM personnels and also an encouragement to serve the empowerment of underprivileged women in Indonesia,” said the PNM Director of Operations, Sunar Basuki.
PNM is active through various platforms, including social media to provide empowerment and assistance programs through the training that has been applied to its MSMEs.
Some of the PKU programs that has been running involve some trainings to micro and ultramicro entrepreneurs with the theme of training related to the importance of saving money in a bank and making a simple financial plan. Besides that, also the importance of business permit and getting the Business Identification Number (NIB) to obtain business legality and make it easier for entrepreneurs to promote their products. In addition, sharing how to trade using social media to expand business market, prosper their family, and upgrade their level.
PNM has disbursed financing of Rp141.11 trillion to PNM Mekaar customers, totaling 12.56 million customers until September 15, 2022. Currently, PNM has 3,501 PNM Mekaar service offices and 688 PNM ULaMM service offices throughout Indonesia serving MSMEs in 34 provinces, 443 regencies/cities, and 5,640 districts.
