THE meeting between Agus Aris Munandar, a University of Indonesia archeologist, and Hendra Wijaya and Inotji Hayatullah from Hanjuang Bodas Foundation, Bogor, has opened a new page for historical and archeological research on the Sunda Kingdom. It was through the two figures that Agus got acquainted with the large sacred stones believed to be megalithic sites in Sindang Barang village, Bogor, in early 2005.
