THE Warisan Johor Foundation is being charged with the disappearance of thousands of ancient Malay scripts, presumed stolen from Riau and brought to neighboring Malaysia. Indeed, both areas can geographically and historically lay claim to the ancient documents. Before 1824, the two areas came under the domain of the Malay kingdoms.
