There was a special ceremony at the start of a session of the US Congress held last November 15, namely the reading of verses from the Qur'an. The reciter was a young man with a thin moustache, sideburns, and who was wearing a rimless cap. Don't be surprised to hear that the ceremony was held in honor of the coming of Ramadan (the Muslim month of fasting) and was intently heard by the members of congress!
