SINCE the Covid-19 pandemic, Saiful Mujani has commuted between his office in Menteng, Central Jakarta, and his home in Rancamaya, Bogor, West Java. Though the drive takes more than an hour, he prefers staying in the quiet residential complex with little traffic. Only occasionally does the founder of Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) stay at his old house in South Tangerang, Banten.
