SJAFRIE Sjamsoeddin hasn't changed at all. He looks just as handsome as he did when he appeared in photos and on television when he was still commander of the Greater Jakarta Military Area Command (Kodam), from September 1997 to June 1998. His attiregreen army uniform with polished gold insigniagives him a neat appearance. He appears calm and relaxed, and smiles often.
