As soon as the Bank Bali scandal reaches court, the matter becomes more and more deflated. This is despite the fact that in the past the case shook the political stage and forced the Golkar Party into a corner. It even managed to successfully impede Habibie from being re-elected as president. All the same, the people’s sense of justice was dealt yet another blow from the Rp904-billion Bank Bali corruption trial that ended last Thursday.
