Untung Udji Santoso’s replacement will be a prosecutor from outside the Attorney General’s Office. Yet some believe it will not be enough to reform the office.

THERE were three prosecutors that should have been summoned by Attorney General Hendarman Supandji on Friday last week. They were Suhartoyo, Halius Husen and Darmono. The three—according to a Tempo source—were Echelon II prosecutors that Hendarman was to submit to the President as candidates to replace Untung.
