SEVEN plainclothes police officers pushed their way into the lobby of the Hotel Maharani in Mampang, South Jakarta, at 2am on Friday two weeks ago. Led by Adjutant Senior Commissioner Hendra Joni, the officers, from the Jakarta Metropolitan Police’s Drug Squad approached the duty manager and presented him with a warrant to search one of the rooms in the three-star hotel.
