The floods that overwhelmed Jakarta apparently not only brought its residents misery, but have also given birth to a legal case. Wednesday last week, 14 Jakartans who had become victims of the flooding lodged a class action suit at the Central Jakarta court via the Legal Aid Institute (LBH)'s Jakarta branch. They are suing President Megawati Sukarnoputri, Jakarta Governor Sutiyoso, and West Java Governor Nuriana.
