Clarification from the Singapore Tourism Board

WE refer to Tempo magazine's English edition article titled The 'Looting' of the Belitung Treasures on April 6-12, 2011, and would like to point out a few inaccuracies.

Contrary to what had been reported, the artifacts were acquired from Seabed Explorations Limited by Sentosa Leisure Management Pte Ltd. This was done in a legal and open manner in Indonesia in 2005, and not in 1998 as stated in the art
