Rated PG? Not The Commercials

I was watching a show on SCTV called Pesta Bintang III, Sunday, April 15 2001 at 4:30pm. During the show, there was a commercial advertsing a device for pregnancy tests. The other commercials were for milk and cookies and aimed at children. Isn't there a way to avoid this in the future? This program was aired at 4:30pm when many children would have been watching.
