The political situation in Indonesia is becoming worse every day. With it the economic situation is also deteriorating. The rupiah seems like it can only freefall. A drop in its value of Rp1,000 or more is no longer uncommon. A more interesting point is that the rupiah seems to personify every quality of the Indonesian politicians. They are the best at making this nation freefall, but are the worst at lifting this nation out of the crisis.
