ON August 8, 2021, I visited Menara Bank Mega on Jalan Kapten Tendean, South Jakarta, to close my credit card and meet with an officer. But a security guard stopped me saying closing credit cards should be done by phone. I spoke to an officer and told them my intention to close my credit card, but the officer said there were some outstanding bills, and so it could not be done.
