A number of old historical buildings are converted into hangout spots, offering visitors the charms of bygone eras.
RESTING on a chair on the veranda of Pos Bloc in Central Jakarta, Rifki Abdul Aziz played with his phone on Tuesday night, February 22. It was his first time visiting the cultural heritage building, formerly known as Post en Telegraaf. Before relaxing on the veranda, Rifki and his friends ate the food sold there. “It’s unique, an old building turned into a place to hang out,” said the 28-year-old.
