Is it the natural environment of the city that elicits creativity? What is clear is the fact that the image of Bandung has been translated by those who live in the city in various creative forms, whether in print or through music.
EACH city has a fingerprint. For whatever reason, watercolor has always been an elegant medium to capture the fingerprint of a city. Almost every tourist city in the world has a watercolor sketchbook that depicts its beauty. Amongst them are Paris Sketchbook, London Sketchbook: A City Observed, and Venice Sketchbook. Boats, museums, old cathedrals, parks, sidewalks, fountains and statues illustrated in watercolor seem more romantic and elegant.
