Zionism, in the hands of Benjamin Netanyahu, has become a ‘status quo’ ideology, denying opportunities for peace with Palestine.
IN November 2022, Israel’s prime ministerial candidate from the right-wing Likud Party, Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu, was campaigning in Jerusalem. I was visiting there at the time and was arguing with Geva Hadaya, a local tour guide who spoke fluent Indonesian.
