THE call to revolution has not disappeared from our vocabulary. Since Indonesia’s 1998 Reformasi (post-Suharto era), the term has only been heard once or twice. At the beginning of the 20th century, the word was quoted as one of the things that encouraged Indonesia to push for independence.
