Hutomo Mandala Putra, better known as Tommy, is a fugitive. To date the police are yet to find the youngest son of former dictator Suharto who’s been in hiding since his appeal for mercy was turned down by President Abdurrahman Wahid. Tommy was sentenced to 18 months in jail for corruption. More than 45 sites where Tommy was believed to have been hiding have been searched by police—to no avail.
