BLOODSHED almost took place at Senayan. Last Monday some 500 supporters of President Abdurrahman Wahid arrived at the gate of the legislative building. The sun’s heat made their faces redder; they called their group Gerakan Taretan Madura (Gertam). Security forces barred their entrance from the legislative building complex for fear of clashes between them and the anti-Wahid masses waiting inside.
