When Artists No Longer Do Art

The Jakarta Arts Council submitted a motion of no confidence against the Jakarta Provincial government. Governor Anies Baswedan altered the city’s grant-making scheme.

THE invitation to meet was circulated to management and secretariat staff of the Jakarta Arts Council (DKJ) on the first week of January. The letter of invitation came almost one month after the DKJ submitted a motion of no confidence against the Jakarta Provincial government.
