DATED February 8, 2023, a letter bearing ASI Pudjiastuti Aviation’s letterhead was sent to President Joko Widodo. It outlines requests for protection and assistance in freeing a Susi Air pilot, Phillip Mark Mehrtens, who is being held hostage by the West Papua National Liberation Army (TPNPB) led by Egianus Kogeya.
