Doubts over Prabowo’s Human Rights Commitment

The phrase “human rights” was lost from Prabowo Subianto’s inauguration speech.

MANY circles questions President Prabowo Subianto’s commitment to protecting human rights under his administration. In his nearly 50-minute inaugural speech at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, on October 20, 2024, he made no mention of the phrase “human rights” or any commitment to upholding them.
