Singapore's senior minister has done it again. After he accused Indonesia of being a terrorists' lair, the Jakarta government summoned Singapore's top diplomat here to ask for clarification.

It was not the kind of thing Jakarta wanted to hear, although the government must be getting used to it by now. And it came from a man not to be trifled with, Singapore's Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew, prime minister of the `Lion City' for 31 years and who remains very influential in the whole of Southeast Asia, if not beyond.
