Freedom of the Press Still in Peril

REPORTERS Without Borders, a French non-profit organization that advocates freedom to information, released its global press freedom index on Wednesday, May 3. Indonesia’s press freedom in 2023 is ranked 108th out of 180 countries, or up nine levels from the previous year.
