State of Emergency Needed for Poso

What is happening in Poso is no longer an opposition. It is open rebellion. When the police tried to arrest 26 people suspected of violence, they were not only obstructed by a group of local residents, some of them well-armed. One police officer and 13 civilians were killed in the violence, a clear evidence that the eight-year Poso conflict is far from over.
