Supplies of the antiretroviral drug have fallen dangerously low due to a failure to conduct a tender. The lives of people with HIV positive are under threat.

The ministry of health had better ensure an adequate supply of the antiretroviral drug after failing to conduct a tender last year. The drug that contains tenofovir, lamivudine, and efavirens (TLE) is a lifeline for HIV Positive people and those living with AIDS. The tender for antiretroviral supplies needs to be expedited this year to save the lives of the population living with the life-endangering virus.
