The DPR and the government need to immediately pass the personal data protection law. The new body to protect people’s data must be independent.
THE Personal Data Protection Bill must be passed into law soon. It is not right that this vitally important legislation is in limbo simply because of the egos and differences of opinion between the government and the House of Representatives (DPR) over which body will implement this law.
