The government is in a quandary as regards to restraining household LPG subsidies. It is the result of prior reluctance to carry out a thorough energy migration program.
AS prices of oil and gas escalate, it is high time the government hastens the program to reduce household use of liquefied petroleum gas or LPG. Migration towards the use of electric induction stoves can lessen the burden on the state budget due to ballooning energy subsidies.
